This is a wonderful book for parents – easily understandable and easily readable. It gives account of what science knows about how a baby’s brain grows. It also discusses the evolution of the senses, motor skills, emotions, memory, self-control, language, attention and intelligence, the parental factors that are most important in shaping brain development of a child, how breast milk and other nutritional factors can actually improve children’s mental functioning, the difference between boys’ and girls’ developing brains.
