Friday, June 13, 2008

If you have been following my articles and diets you should have seen a difference to the eczema on your face.

The diet will create softer, smoother and healthier skin. You will notice that any wounds or scars heal quickly and your face is more pleasing to your eye.

It is time now however to make a small change in your diet because of the colder weather.

During the winter months it is important that you eat sufficient foods to prevent you from feeling the cold.

Otherwise you will find yourself grabbing at convenient junk foods which may result in a deterioration of your skin.

I know of a subscriber who totally changed the way she was eating because she was concerned about feeling cold during the cooler months.

But after a few days she found that eczema blotches were returning to her face.

I suggested that she started back on the eczema diet that I had suggested to her with a few alterations to take ensure she did not feel she was missing out and craving carbohydrates.

Tip #1 – Eczema on Face – Adapt Your Eczema Meals

The first alteration you should make to your eczema diet is to include more wholegrain foods. This can be in the form of rye bread, brown rice or wholemeal pasta.

Consuming more wholegrain foods will help you to feel warming for longer periods.

Tip #2 – Eczema on Face – Adapt Your Eczema Meals

To help keep the skin lubricated and hydrated increase by one teaspoon per day the amount of hemp seed or flax seed oil you consume.

Tip #3 – Eczema on Face – Adapt Your Eczema Meals

Create more vegetable based soups and stews. Ensure you include potato, swede or turnip chunks to help you feel full and satisfied.
