Effective Herbal Supplements Overcoming Drug Copmanies Ad Budget
It would seem as though many of us do not of how costly our present actions can be. It is almost part of our collective DNA to think of short term pleasure we could have, instead of the damage our actions could cause us down the road. This is the tendency that causes a great many people to blindly rely on pharmaceutical drug companies for their physical problems instead of first seeking a natural remedy in the form of supplements.
The majority of people across the globe have been taught that prescription drug companies have their best interest at heart and that they are the people to trust when you have a physical problem. The notion that a drug chemical compound dreamed up in a boardroom is superior to natural supplements, some would say, is a fictitious and harmful delusion brought about by non commercial advertisements. Many supplements are not only more effective at treating certain conditions than their prescription counterparts, but they have very few minor if any existent side effects. Prescription drugs on the other hand have a long history of having many side effects with varying degrees of severity.
In more recent years this tendency has declined in some areas of the world. In fact in certain places, there has been a movement of sorts to educate individuals as to the benefits of supplements vs the drawbacks of the drugs from pharmaceutical companies. This has been a slow going process due to the delusion of pharmaceutical companies being thought of as some type of authority figure or in the role of actually having their clients best interest in mind. This illusion is gradually starting to fade. More and more individuals are realizing that the majority of pharmaceutical companies are simply trying to squeeze as much money out of the consumer as possible. These companies have little or no regard as to the suffering a person might incur in the future due to the consumption of their product.
It is confounding to those knowledgeable of the long term benefits of supplements, as to why many people still continue to purchase drugs from pharmaceutical companies. Considering the side effects that many pharmaceutical users endure, in combination with the significantly higher costs of those drugs when compared to the much cheaper supplements, it is understandable as to why this would confuse supplement users.
Being able to compete in terms of spreading awareness of their view, has always been a dilemma for the proponents of supplements. As many have discovered over the years the massive prescription drug companies have many lobbyist working for them around the clock. This is in addition to the billions of dollars they spend in blanketing the globe with their false and misleading advertisements. These two tools of prescription drug companies have kept many people over the years from being unaware of how effective supplements are
at treating the same ailments for a small fraction of what prescription drug companies charge.
Over the past fifteen years or so the amount of new users of supplements has begun to grow at a rocket like pace. This can be directly attributed to the fact that the supporters of supplements have turned to the internet to spread their beliefs. The internet has been able to give the proponents of supplements the ability to reach millions of people across the globe in a short amount of time. Many of these are people who were never privy to the overwhelming effectiveness of supplements before they logged onto the internet.
The internet has brought about sever new lines of communication. Some of these forms are; message boards, article reading websites, chat rooms, etc. New arenas for communication are springing up all the time online. This of course leads to more people being able to gain important and timely information about supplements and their man benefits. This comes as a welcome addition to most homes who are use to get a constant saturation of the airwaves with prescription drug advertisements.
Is it possible that everyone in the world at once will abandon their prescription drugs? Maybe all of the prescription drug companies will stop pushing addictive drugs that carry harsh and annoying if not lethal side effects? Most likely the answers to these two questions is a resounding NO. However the effect that the internet has had in allowing proponents of supplements to get their views into the mainstream arena, cannot be denied. Through the many new avenues of interaction on the internet, supplement users are continuing to educate unaware individuals as to the effectiveness of herbs in the form of supplements. Upon being educated as to their benefits, more and more people are turning to supplements to treat their various physical problems. It is certainly well within the realm of possibilities that supplements will become the favored treatment for physical ailments over prescription drugs by the majority of individuals across the globe.
