The most important causes of acne
The first action for curing acne is to know its cause. Like in the saying “know your enemy to defeat it”, the acne has to be studied very well in order to stop it.
The Acne is an inflammatory skin disease characterized by the apparition of inflammatory processes and blackheads, whiteheads, or pimples on the skin. Some of the most affected parts of the body are the neck, face, chest, upper back, arms, and shoulders. The acne appears more frequently in these parts of the body because of a higher number of sebaceous glands. These glands can be stimulated by the hormone named “androgen”, making them to produce more sebum. Sebum is the natural oil for the hydration of our hair, we also call it “sweat”. This surplus of sebum is usually excreted by pores of the skin. But in some cases this pores can be blocked by different obstacles. The bacteria in the sebum which is caught in the pores starts to multiply causing a little local infection, which in result creates the acne.
We will show some of the most common causes of acne. For acne the best cure is the prevention, and this can help the skin to be healthy and not triggered by this infection. The first cause are the hormones especially the androgen which stimulates the sebaceous glands to produce sebum. This hormone is very active in the puberty period and this is why some teenagers have great problems with acne. An unhealthy diet is other cause. Eating food rich in fats and cholesterol is connected with the apparition of acne while a diet low on fats can prevent it. The clothing is a important cause of acne. The tight clothes and hats, straps, collars can affect the skin and contribute to the apparition of acne. Many synthetic materials that stop the skin to breathe are also a cause of acne. The stress which raises the hormonal level in the body and weakens the immune system can stimulate and aggravate acne. The make-up which covers the pores and doesn’t let the skin breath is another cause of acne. The medications especially those that have Bromides, Corticosteroids, Lithium, and others can stimulate acne. The environment, and especially the sun, humidity and the pollution, can provoke the acne. Other causes are genetic predisposition, use of hormonal contraceptives and rough skin handling. And last but not the least is the absence of a good hygiene, this is why the pores are getting stuffed with death cells and dusty particles and the best conditions for acne appear.
