Any weight loss or fitness program requires a lot of planning and commitment. The motto should be to take up small and achievable goals of weight reduction. Once you achieve your goal, pamper and reward yourself at each milestone. It’s very necessary to educate yourself about your expectations from a life changing weight loss resolution. This would motivate you to stick to your plan in coming weeks and months.
The whole process is slow and lengthy, yet, a rewarding process. Development of your healthy eating plan would take around 2 to 3 weeks. Next 1 to 2 weeks will go in realizing the better influence of healthy eating on your mind and body. Incorporation of brisk walking habit everyday with these healthy eating habits would be evident in you – energetic body, vitality, radiant skin and eyes and a new enthusiasm for life. Weight loss and fitness programs needs tremendous efforts and requires enormous commitments. The program requires us to be realistic and considerate with our body.
During the week 1 to 2 of weight loss regime, efforts should be taken to alter and control our eating habits. Plan your meals in advance, so that you don’t have to hog on fried snacks or takeaways. Calculate your calories intake and know the portion of carbs, fats and proteins you are giving to your body. Give correct and proportionate fuel to your body.
Week 3 to 4 will welcome you with fantastic energy levels and enthusiastic you, as a reward of your healthy eating habits and lots of walking. And improvements in you would not go without being noticed. Don’t get distracted and work towards your set goals.
In week 6 to 8 along with cardio exercise (like walking), try to add on some weight training. Your body by now would be habituated to your altered healthy food habits and light routine exercises. As per your body and mind, choose to do the right thing.
At this stage, do take time out to relax a bit as you have achieved your first milestone. Set another goal or milestone and get ready for another journey towards a healthy you.
